“She smiled while saying, ‘You can’t do therapy if you wanna die!’”

I had the misfortune of working with Laura Thornhill, a counsellor from North York General Hospital. She continuously belittled my trauma and pain, was wildly condescending, and smiled while saying “You can’t do therapy if you wanna die!” She was the only one I had at the time, and I hold her responsible for my multiple suicide attempts and abuse at psych floors.
